Happy 2008

We had a fantastic day yesterday. One of those days that if I was reading someone else's account of it would detest them for how sweet and healthy and family-like they were. You have been warned, so here goes:

The monkeys woke up at the normal early time so we had lots of time to pack in activities.

Activity #1: Bake cinnamon buns from a tube. Very successful.

Activity #2: Go sledding with friends. Was told there was a small hill at the end of the street. There wasn't. We climbed snow mountains instead. Very successful.

Activity #3: JEM went skiing in the Hills. We made Shepard's Pie. Very successful.

Activity #4: The monkeys wanted to ski with JEM after he got home. Since it had been snowing alllllll day, we took them up and down the sidewalks. Maxman said he was grooming the trails. Very successful.

Activity #5: Skating on our neighbours awesome backyard rink with our sledding friends. Very successful.

Activity #6: Eat Shepard's Pie. Very yummy. Sleep.

Wow, hope the rest of the year is this much fun. Playing every day makes us happy.

Great recordings for Day 1 of 2008.Same for the pictures. Afi was not nearly as active but still had a fun day doing things I enjoy.. meaning minimum internal household activity or responsibilities. I am beginning to think if I ignore it maybe the challenge ahead of me will go away.

Max and Marley are becoming poster
    children for Participaction!!!

    Love Afi
