It is almost unreal how fast this granola disappears in our house. The kids love it. JEM loves it. I love it.
My mom gave me the recipe. I think she got it from the Food Network.

Preheat oven to 325
3 cups old fashioned oats
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup walnuts
Combine above in large oven-proof bowl (I use a huge stainless steel mixing bowl).
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup honey
Melt above slowly in a small pot.
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
Add above two ingredients to butter mixture (once melted), stir, then add to dry ingredients. Mix well and put in oven.
Cook for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to make sure it doesn't clump.
Let cool and add:
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup cranberries
Store in an airtight container.
I always add flax seeds, pumpkin seeds and cut up dried apricots to my granola.
