Bootservations

Maxman has been really funny lately. He's been experimenting with different words and trying to use words in different ways.

For the last month or so he's been saying:

"Mom I have a question."

Me: "Yes."

Maxman: "This shirt is too hot."

Me: "That's not a question Max, that's more of a statement."

Maxman (completely ignores my response): "Mom, I have a question."

Me: "Okay."

Maxman: "I'm taking my shirt off."

Me: "Okay."


Yesterday we got home from skating and as we're taking off our boots Maxman says to JEM:

"Dad, I have a question for you."

JEM: "Yes."

Maxman: "Our boots are dirty from being outside."

JEM: "That's more of an observation Max."

Maxman, thinks for a moment: "I know, it's a bootservation."
