Not Until They're Teenagers

My husband was trying to put our 6-month-old daughter to bed tonight and while she was protesting loudly, I heard him call out to our 2-year-old son in his room at the other end of the hall.

I went to assist and found Max trying to move his potty out of his room so he could close the door to block out the crying. To prevent him from closing his door completely we put a towel along the top. I guess he's grown because he reached up, pulled the towel off and closed the door with a bang.

Aren't they supposed to wait until their teenagers to do this???

Curling Note: Erik and his new team made it to the semi-finals in the RCMP Bonspeil this weekend. This was the first time they've really played together as a team - Max, Marley and I thought they were great.
