I just had a drink and appetizers at the new restaurant across the street from my house. It's called Supply and Demand and it is super and fantastic.
I sipped Pink Fuzz, a grapefruit wheat beer from a new local brewery called Beyond the Pale. I also had amazing brussel sprouts with bacon and anchovies. So, so good.
My friend had a grapefruit martini and the BEST kale salad I've ever tried. There was bacon in it too.
Apparently the secret is that the chefy-types massage the kale every day to get rid of the bitterness. Who knew?
If you are in the neighbourhood go. We sat at the bar and chatted and just had a lovely old time.
