Let's Go Fly a Kite

We went kite flying a couple of times the week before school started.

It was a lot of fun and the kids learned that you need patience to fly a kite.

You need to wait for the wind to be just right, you need to let out just the right amount of string, and then when it crashes you have to wind that string right back up again.

The joy on everyone's faces (child and adult) was priceless.

There was also some tree climbing going on.
