Random Bits and Pieces

Painted some chalkboard bits in the kitchen today. The kids are all very excited about it. So am I. JEM suggested painting all the cupboards black. Carefully buddy, that could happen tomorrow if you aren't careful.

Christmas celebration is well under way. We have made many, many snowflakes. We open and read a Christmas book every night from now until Christmas Eve.

There is no snow here. It just keeps raining. This sucks.

A very good friend started working for an MP today on Parliament Hill. I am very, very happy for her. She is going to be fantastic.

Avo has been wearing a red and black dress lately. She calls it her ladybug dress or her rockstar dress depending on her mood. When it's rockstar dress, she has moves to go with it. It's highly entertaining.

I put up the Christmas lights last week. They look great. Even better than last year. Turns out if you accidentally use half your Christmas tree lights as well as the regular amount of lights on your house it looks great. Gonna have to buy some more lights this year for the tree because they are not coming off the house.

I made French Onion Soup today - it is delicious. So, so, so good.
