He Turns 7 Today

He couldn't sleep all night long. I don't know what time he was up this morning but it was early.

As is our tradition we gave him his gifts first thing this morning.

He got a skateboard. He was out trying it out at 7am this morning. We all went out to watch him try, try again.

He is the most persistent kid. He is brilliant-smart, really funny, has a huge heart, loves all his little sisters, loves to just do his own thing, and takes good care of JEM and I. We love him so very, very much.

Next up for him today: Pizza, bowling, cake & ice cream and "Return of the Jedi" with his friends.
