Question

Is Stuart Little a boy or a mouse?

We are reading it right now and I am a little confused. I always thought mouse, but after reading the first chapter am not so sure anymore.

Clarification would be nice.

    According to the movies he is a mouse voiced by Michael J. Fox.
    So sad when you are only able to reference a movie and not the original book.
