Almost There

Remember when this was a huge, looming mass in my backyard?Then we had it removed (thank you Brennan's Tree Removal Service - they do demo too.)
Then we put up the brick wall, had a fence put in and today we had a lovely man named Herb come and dig out the weedy gravel pit and bring in 34 yards!!! of top soil. Man that guy knows how to use a Bobcat. We had considered doing this ourselves and then realized just how much dirt 34 yards is.
Hugh even raked it all smooth before he left tonight. Worth every penny!

Now, imagine it with a green lawn on top. Can't picture it? Then come and visit and see it all for yourself.
This is a shot of our new fence. There is a gate 2/3 of the way down the kids love. They call it the secret passageway.
