I ran the 10km on Saturday night. JEM ran the 1/2 marathon on Sunday morning.
I had a lovely time. Biked down with "K", met "J" at the course, had a nice run and biked home. Thank you to all the family and friends who were there and who surprised me with a "Go Darcy" sign right before the finish line.
On Sunday morning I packed up the girls and went down to watch JEM run with our neighbours. Hops & Barley and her good friend Knick were so cute. They stood and held out their hands for the runners to slap. Many, many of them did. What a great event.
Later that day, our other neighbour girl (she's 11) braided H&B's hair. It is really cool and she still has the braids in 5 days later.
