Hops & Barley bought a Belle Barbie doll yesterday with her money.
Maxman used his along with all the Canadian Tire money he has been saving to buy himself a lego-like alien creature.
It comes in about a million pieces with an instruction manual that looks like the Ikea catalogue.
JEM hates, hates, hates to put these things together.
I love putting these things together.
Maxman is so good at it he really didn't need our help. He is amazing and following the instructions and only came to ask for help when he needed tricky pieces snapped together.
He spent all morning and part of the afternoon working on it.
Then our neighbour called with free tickets to a World Junior Hockey Game. JEM and Maxman walked down to Lansdowne and enjoyed the game along with some snacks, then stopped for pizza on the way home.
He had so much fun.
It's good for him to get out for some boy time given how outnumbered he is in this house.
I love the fact he saves his own Canadian Tire money!!
