"Mar, are you drawing on the wall?" I ask and examine the wall.
"Nope."
"You know we don't draw on walls right?" I say and examine the baseboard.
"Yes mom."
"Why don't you go someplace less squishy."
"Okay."
Five minutes or so later I examined what I should have the first time. I totally didn't notice this the first time.
I about fell over laughing. Then I went and got JEM.
She said she was making herself into a clown. She was using the mirror to make sure she got it right.
She coloured her face, her arms, her belly, her back, her legs and her feet. I only stopped her when she started doing the soles of her feet.
Ahhhh...to live like a child.
She had a good long bath tonight but is still tinged a little green.
hahaha--thats AWESOME!!!!
ReplyDeleteToo funny! Charlotte has also discovered the magic of "make-up". She has been having quiet time each afternoon, in place of a nap. She can read, do puzzles, draw etc. The only caveat is that she needs to do it quietly. So, for 3 consecutive quiet times she has taken a washable marker and applied eyebrows, whiskers, and a nose to look like a cat. But because she has applied and removed the marker so quietly the only evidence has been a washcloth stained with purple marker. Thank you Crayola for making a truly washable marker.
