Stuff We've Done Lately

With about two months left until we double the number of kids in the house we (that means I) have been panicking about getting certain things done.

JEM has kindly helped out with all of these projects. I do most of the prep work so that it is hard for him to not help finish things off. I am very tricky and pitiful most of the time so it is hard for him to not say,

"Yes, I would love to paint the bathroom today instead of playing outside in the lovely weather."

We have installed a screen door:

It does a great job of keeping the flies out.

We painted the kids' room - they picked purple:

Next we need to find some beds with storage for the kids and add some storage in our room. Add a couple hundred diapers and we're cookin'. Thanks to the generosity of many friends and people in the neighbourhood who are done having kids we have four bouncy chairs, three pack n' plays, car seats (infant and bigger kid), three huge Rubbermaids of baby clothes and other accessories. Thanks to everyone for their kindness.
