Take this specimen lurking in my downstairs basement bathroom. They are harmless and eat the other bugs in the basement. I can coexist peacefully with them as long as I don't ever, ever have to see them:

There was a question about the size of this creepy crawler. I would guess that the body alone was about 2 inches long - then add the legs and feelers.
This is being conservative b/c if you had asked me that day I would have said it was 6 inches long - minimum.
