Thursday in the Capital

The only thing good about 5 am this morning was that it wasn't 4 am.

The fact that Max loves "The Lion King" and will sit and watch it at 5 am is about the coolest thing in the world.

The fact that he laughs hysterically when the wildebeests trample Mufasa to death and says, "That's a new game." worries me somewhat, but it keeps him happy, so I am happy.

Yes, I did this to my own son for three reasons: 1. The paint washes off. 2. It's non-toxic. 3. It was fun.

Marley is currently trying to stuff her head under the couch. There is nothing good under there. I keep telling her this but it doesn't seem to matter, she keeps trying. I wish her luck.
