Run For The Cure

RUN FOR THE CURE

Am off in a couple of minutes to run the annual "Run for the Cure" in support of breast cancer research. It's a really moving event. There are hundreds of people running and everyone gets a label to pin on that says "I am running for" and you fill in the blank.

Mine says:

I am running for

Grandma

I read everyone else's label as I'm running and try really hard not to cry. Breast cancer survivors get pink t-shirts when they register for the race and there are a lot of them running. They are incredibly inspiring.
