Dinner = Hair Product

Max was eating peanut butter/banana sandwiches for dinner tonight. He sat at the table happily munching away while I fed Marley her rice mush cereal.

I noticed something out of the corner of my eye and looked up to see Max peeling his sandwich apart, eating the banana slices, scooping a finger full of peanut butter in to his mouth and then scooping another finger full and rubbing it in to his hair, much like you would do with hair gel. Man, I just started cracking up.

Did I mention that after doing this my slick little man looked up at me and said, "I am dirty."?

Did I also mention that Max had already used some Herbacin Hand Cream on his hair earlier today at the park (great silicone-based conditioning product)? Slick was probably a bit of an understatement.

Two hair washings later, he doesn't seem to smell like peanut butter anymore.

Now for those of you educated about the No Nut / No Trace Nut debate currently raging at many schools and pre-schools across the country, I think it's fairly safe to say that my son is neither Nut nor Trace Nut Free.

Good thing he doesn't go to pre-school anymore.
